The CAE Help Desk is staffed by students workers called Consultants. Consultants go through a training program that focuses on hardware, software, and network trouble shooting. Consultants are generally available to answer your computing questions during these hours.

Consultants can help you with printing, installation of supported tethered software, Windows and linux computing issues, as well as account problems. If the on-duty consultant is unable to help you, they will refer you to someone else who can.

The Consultant’s Office is located on first floor at 1410 Engineering Drive, across from Engineering Hall. You can contact them in person in room 116, through the contact form, emailing helpdesk@cae.wisc.edu or by calling 262-5349.
