CAE Accounts

Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) is a College of Engineering facility available to any student with an engineering major or enrolled in an engineering course, as well as faculty and staff of the College. CAE provides users access to facilities and resources which allows them to effectively compute on the engineering campus.

The first thing you'll want (and need) to do is activate your CAE account. You can do this using a web form located here, or in any of the CAE computer labs. For most types of accounts, you will need your netID and password, which can be activated on DoIT's website here.

Your CAE account will give you access to a variety of resources, depending on the account type. Student, faculty, and staff accounts all have access to software, network file storage space, email, printing, and use of CAE lab computers.
