The CAE Mailman web interface is intended to provide an easy to access interface
to various aspects of CAE's mailman server. If there are any web-based services
related to mailman that you would find useful on this server, please send your
suggestions to helpdesk@cae.wisc.edu.
If you are visiting this page to register a complaint about email abuse
that involves a cae.wisc.edu or engr.wisc.edu user or computer, please send mail
to abuse@cae.wisc.edu.
Mailing to groups of CAE users

If you are a student and are interested in E-mailing all students in a study group
or if you are any other CAE user in a similar situation, please do not request
a mailing list. There is an easy way to send mail to a small number of users at their
@cae.wisc.edu accounts:
- Make sure that all participants in this group can read their @cae.wisc.edu mail.
If they prefer not to use this account, make sure they forward it to an account
they do use. This can be done in the
CAE account management page.
- Add a CAE group
. Be
sure to give the group a sensible name. Also, be sure to include the CAE user
names of all members you wish to send mail to.
- You can now mail to every member of this CAE group by sending a message to
group/<groupname>@cae.wisc.edu where <groupname> is the name of
the CAE group you just created.

Mailing Lists
The
GNU Mailing List Manager,
mailman provides mailing lists for groups sponsored by the College
of Engineering. If your student organization, research group, center,
or department would like to establish a new mailing list, contact
mailman@cae.wisc.edu.
