The following instructions apply to Mac OSX 10.3.x.

1. Go to Norton Antivirus.
3. Login with you DoIT NetID and password.
4. Select both Yes boxes and click download.
5. Select Macintosh Installation Instructions.
6. In step one, click here to download NAV for Mac.
7. The downloaded file should expand automatically. Double click the file called NAV Mac.smi.
8. The disk image icon entitled NAV Mac should appear on the desktop.
9. Double click the NAV Mac disk image and then double click on the installer appropriate for the operating system.
10. Read and accept the License Agreement.
11. Follow the steps in the installer and reboot the computer at the end of the installation.
12. Keep your virus definitions up to date using Norton LiveUpdate.

NOTE: Check for new virus definition updates at least once per week.
