CAE has decided to retire the jabber server. When we initiated this service, there was nothing comparable that met our needs adequately. Since then, DoIT has established a campus-wide jabber service - WiscChat. This service performs all the same functions that CAE's server did.

CAE's jabber service endied on Monday March 2, 2009. You can configure your jabber client to use WiscChat. You can find instruction on how to do that here (http://www.doit.wisc.edu/wiscchat/), along with more information and documentation on WiscChat.
