Overview: CAE Consultants are students, often with engineering majors, who are available to help you. Consultants go through a training program that focuses on hardware, software, and network trouble shooting. Consultants are available to answer your computing questions 7 days a week during normal business hours. (see the schedule below for details)
Services: Consultants can help you with printing, installation of supported tethered software, Windows and Unix computing issues, as well as account problems. If the on-duty consultant is unable to help you, they will refer you to someone else who can.
Location: The Consultant's Office is located on first floor of the CAE Center at 1410 Engineering Drive (see the map to the left). You can contact them in person in room 170 CAE, through emailing helpdesk@cae.wisc.edu or by calling 262-5349.
Lab Schedules:CAE labs are open the same as building hours. Some locations are open 24 hours a day. Check the lab schedules for more information.
