It will provide you with relevant security tips, instructions on how best to remotely access your desktop, as well as a few performance tweaks to help get things running smoothly. Accessing CAE programs from a machine not permanently on the College network.
Tethered software allows you to locally install and run some CAE owned and controlled software while you are connected to the internet. Tethered software requires you to Mapping a Network Drive if accessing from outside the COE network. Alternatively you may check out the software CD for installation. Tethered software can be very handy, but if you are going to be using multiple CAE applications it might be faster to run Remote Desktop.
